Magdalena Szpotowicz PhD works at the Centre for Foreign Language Teacher Training and European Education, University of Warsaw. She specialises in teacher training and teaching English to young learners. She authored English coursebooks for primary children (Sparks, OUP), school curricula and articles on teaching English to children.
Her research interests include early foreign language acquisition, foreign language policy changes and young learner teacher development. Since 2006 she has been involved in a multinational longitudinal study "Early Langauge Learning in Europe".
This workshop will focus on stimulating creative activity in the pupils and their teachers. The participants will be invited to take part in hands-on art and craft activities and performing stories for young learners.
